Introducing the National Digital Exchange
The National Digital Exchange (NDX) is a UK government service that transforms how public sector organisations adopt and manage cloud services. With established strategic partnerships and ready access, NDX offers consistently secure, well-architected cloud environments that are rapidly deployable and easily consumed. It underpins data and capability sharing between departments, enhancing collaboration and efficiency across government and wider public sector.
By providing turn-key access to commercial industry providers, NDX ensures that all public sector organisations—regardless of size or technical expertise—have equal opportunities to use advanced technologies. NDX underpins the seamless sharing of data and capabilities within the public sector, eliminating friction and fostering a more connected and efficient government.
NDX:Try — free cloud sandboxes
NDX:Try provides free, no-commitment cloud sandbox environments so you can evaluate products hands-on before making any purchasing decisions. There is no obligation to buy.
We are starting by offering NDX:Try to local government and to users in other public sector organisations who are willing to participate in user research engagement to help us shape the service.
Local government organisations can sign up for self-service access straight away.
Other public sector organisations — get in touch with the NDX team at ndx@dsit.gov.uk to discuss access.
